IFA 2015: Samsung 'Galaxy View' hybrid tablet teased, coming in October
Samsung unveiled the new Gear 2 Sports and Classic version, new connected devices and made Internet of Things related announcements at IFA 2015, however the company still has more to show off before the year ends. While concluding its Gear S2 event on Thursday, the company gave us a sneak preview of what looked like a 2-in-1 hybrid device to be called the Galaxy View.
At the end of its press conference last night, Samsung showed a brief video in which the company teased this mysterious device with a tagline "Start with the limits. Then push them." The company did not give out any detail of the product, though it did mention that the device will be launched in October.

As seen in the teaser, the Galaxy View appears to be a big-screen tablet with a fold-out kickstand, similar to that of the Microsoft Surface tablets. Knowing that Microsoft is likely to launch new Surface tablets including a bigger display one at its October event, or might even showcase them at its event today at IFA, and Samsung's arch rival Apple too is set to launch 12.9-inch iPad Pro possibly at its event on September 9, Samsung seems to be readying this new tablet to take on these upcoming bigger tablets.
