Acer is one of those companies which was expected to debuted a number of devices for the first time at this year's Computex 2014 event. And needless to say, the company, even before the eventual start of the event, has delivered with as many as five different smartphones, one new tablet and a smartband.
This year's Computex event in Taipei, the capital of the Republic of China, is currently running during the same time frame as that of Apple annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) event for 2014. And while it's somewhat expected that either one will take the glory factor out of the other, for the time being, they are moving on in harmony.
For those of you still in the darkness regarding the event (which is quite an unlikely scenario at the moment), the Computex is only the world's second largest trade show with a number of big name companies such as Asus, Acer and HP making most out of this international pedestal to educate fans on what to expect next.
For the time being, we are focusing on everything that's Acer and everything the company has done or revealed with relation to this year's Computex event (although it goes without saying the company didn't want to wait for the event before the final revelation).
So here we take a look at all that came out of Acer's camp with relation to this year's Computex.
Probably the best of all the smartphones that were pushed out by Acer, the new Liquid X1 is an octa-core LTE-supported smartphone with a 5.7-inch screen at the front, alongside the latest Android KitKat on board.
As revealed via the company itself, the device's display uses the Zero Air Gap technology for low light reflection, high and better contrast and even brighter images. The device also has an IPS panel of 720p resolution.
Apart from that, the smartphone comes packing a 1.7 GHz processor and 2 GB of RAM put inside a MediaTek MT6592 SoC. There's a13MP camera unit with the wide f/1.8 aperture, 0.3s autofocus and 1080p video capabilities.
