Following the launch of Helio X10 Octa Core SoC and Helio X20, Semiconductor manufacturer MediaTek has unveiled its first processor under Helio P series. Codenamed, Helio P10, this processor is built focusing on the high-end devices.
This P10 is made to focus on the efficiency and all-round performance and has 2 GHz True Octa-core 64-bit Cortex-A53 CPUs and 700MHz Dual-core 64-bit Mali-T860 GPU.
This chipset comes with TrueBright ISP, which supports ultra-sensitive RWWB to capture twice as much light as traditional RGB sensors to offer minute colors and details even in the low light.
Moving on to the audio department, P10 comes with Hi-Fi audio, with a performance rate of 110dB SNR & -95dB THD.Further, it comes with WorldMode LTE Cat-6, supporting 2×20 carrier aggregation with 300/50Mbps data speed
Also, the MiraVision 2.0 in the P10, enables smooth 60 fps full HD display along side of an "UltraDimming" mode for late night reading and "BluLight Defender" mode to reduce eye fatigue.
Moving on to the availability of the SoC, P10 will be available for the manufacturer's from Q3 and it will arrive in the device in late 2015.
