According to reports, popular video streaming site YouTube has agreed a deal with Tata Docomo to allow the telecom firm's prepaid users watch online videos at 3G at a subsidized price of Rs. 9.
With the new deal in place, users can watch 100 MB worth of videos for Rs. 9 (offer valid for 24 hours) on YouTube. And this also includes Apalya's Live TV streaming service. Users can also opt for more as they can have access to 150 MB (valid for 3 days) for Rs. 19.
As announced, YouTube, Apalya Technologies and Tata Docomo will offer the new video data plan called 'YouTube Recharge.' This will offer users nearly 50 per cent discount from regular data charges to watch videos online.
