Airtel to Give Tough Competition to Reliance Jio with New International Roaming Packs
To combat Reliance Jio, Airtel is now offering new international packs which will give users run for their money
In a move to counterattack Reliance Jio, India's largest telecom service, Bharti Airtel introduced some new plans focusing the international roaming customers.
The new international roaming packs will be called as the 'Smartpacks' and offer free incoming calls, data, and texts as well. Also, these new plans will be offered in three different validity dates - one day, ten days, and one month which are mainly helpful for avid travelers.

Having said that, before you proceed to recharge any of these newly launched packs, you need to first recharge with a pack Rs. 149, which is valid for six months. If you're not recharging with the 149 pack, you won't get any benefits of the smartpacks.

Every pack under the smartpacks scheme will offer unlimited SMS irrespective of the validity. The one-day validity pack offer unlimited SMS and the 30 days pack also offers unlimited SMS.

Also, the new smartpacks with 30 days validity offers you 400 minutes of free voice calls to India and all the one-day validity packs offer you 100 minutes of calling to India.

Unlimited Incoming calls from anywhere! (Except UAE and UK)
Furthermore, the smartpacks even offer unlimited internet incoming calls from all over the world. But, there's a catch for UAE and UK users. UAE users will only receive free calls up to 400 minutes and UK users will receive 100 minutes of incoming calls.
Free data of 3GB and 0.3 GB
Moreover, users can enjoy 3GB of 4G data with the one-month validity pack. And, 300 MB with the one-day validity pack.
Starts from Rs. 499 and goes up to Rs. 4,999
As said earlier, the new smart packs will start from Rs. 499 with one-day validity for countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. However, it costs Rs. 649 for US and Canada, UK, and UAE.
The 30 day validity packs will start from Rs. 2,499 for Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia. However, it costs Rs. 4,999 for both US&Canada, UK, and Rs. 3,999 for UAE.
