With the launch of the Reliance Jio 4G service that offers 4G data at the cheapest price right now in India, all the other operators are slashing their tariff plans to retain their users.
Reliance launched the JioFi Mi-Fi device that can be used as a wireless hotspot with the Jio SIM card for users to enjoy the free 4G data and calls. With this, the broadband users have also started thinking if they should migrate to Jio from their existing broadband connection.
At the right time, BSNL has announced that it will soon launch an unlimited wireline broadband plan. As per this plan, the users can enjoy broadband at Re. 1 per GB of download. However, there is a catch in this plan. To get Re. 1 per GB, the users have to somehow use up to 300 GB of data per month.
