After a few months of buzz, Reliance finally announced the Jio 4G service in India today. The Reliance CMD, Mukesh Ambani, raised the bars for the 4G services in the country with the new Jio service.
He announced the highlights of the Jio 4G service and stated that the services will debut from September 5. The service will be available for users in Delhi and Mumbai initially and it wil be extended to the other cities in around six weeks.

The best thing is that the company has come up with a Welcome Offer that entitles the users to enjoy free data, calls, and SMS up to December 31. You might be wondering what will be the plan after December 31. In that case, it is clear that Reliance will be offering the cheapest 4G data charges ever in the world.

In the Rs. 499 plan, Reliance Jio will offer unlimited and free voice calls and SMS and 4 GB of data for 28 days. Also, there will be 8 GB of data offered via Jio operated Wi-Fi hotspots and unlimited night usage.
Plan Rs. 999
As per this tariff plan, Reliance Jio will offer unlimited and free voice calls and SMS and 10 GB of data for 28 days. The service will provide 20 GB of data offered via Jio operated Wi-Fi hotspots and unlimited night usage.
