Reliance Jio DTH vs Airtel DTH: Will the New Entrant Give Tough Competition?
Reliance Jio turned out to be a sensation with its free welcome offer. Now, the company is planning to introduce DTH service in India. Here’s how it goes against the Airtel’s DTH service.
Lately, we have been hearing a lot about the Reliance Jio's DTH service which is due to launch in the country. As of now, there are no words officially from the company when they are planning to launch the service, but we are expecting it to roll out by the end of December.
We all know about how Reliance Jio created waves in the telecom industry and made other telecom services some insane competition. And now, the company is getting ready to repeat the same in the DTH service.

Having said that, Airtel is also one of the big players in DTH service in India. Will the Reliance Jio's DTH service be able to create disrupt in the Airtel's DTH plot? Let's find out.
Uber Cheap Plans
As per the sources, the monthly estimation for Reliance Jio's DTH is widely expected to be starting from Rs. 185. If compared to Airtel's DTH, the normal plans start from Rs. 300 and Airtel DTH is regarded as the costliest DTH service in India.
Cheapest DTH Service?
If the rumors are believed to be true, then Reliance Jio's DTH service will be the cheapest DTH service in India. Beware Airtel, Jio is coming again.
Reliance Jio Needs to Work Hard on DTH Service!
In order to go against the Airtel DTH, Reliance Jio has to setup a massive base in the country before enrolling the service to general public. If we consider the same with Reliance Jio's 4G services, apart from the free offerings, people have already lost the faith on the service due to low data speeds and barely connecting voice calls.
Welcome Offer for DTH as Well?
Same as the case with Jio's 4G services, their DTH service is also said to be offered in Welcome Offer where users will be able to enjoy free services for three months. Also, Jio is planning to offer their broadband service in welcome offer as well.
Reliance Jio DTH Service Will be Live in Coming Months
According to the sources, Reliance Jio will start offering the DTH service in coming months or by the end of this year. Airtel already has massive fan following in the country for its DTH service and is widely regarded as the best DTH service in India.
