Reliance Jio Effect: BSNL Introduces Rs. 16 Data Pack After BB 249 Unlimited Plan
BSNL is one telecom service provider that has taken the Reliance Jio competition seriously. The operator is introducing different plans across categories to attract the buyers.
Back in September, BSNL created a great buzz in the internet segment with the launch of its BB 249 unlimited broadband plan. Many users subscribed to this unlimited broadband plan that is a promotional one for six months.

That's not all! BSNL stated that it will introduce tariff plans that will match all the plans of Reliance Jio. As mentioned, BSNL has come up with a low-cost data plan priced at Rs. 16. Take a look at more details of this plan from below.

BSNL is celebrating 16 years with this plan
The service provider has announced the Rs. 16 data plan in order to celebrate 16 years of its foundation. That's the reason that BSNL has priced this pack at Rs. 16.
60 MB of data at Rs. 16
Well, this special data tariff plan of Rs. 16 will bundle 60 MB of data to the users. This pack has a validity of one month since the date of activation and its a low cost data plan undoubtedly.
You can get it only till October end
This special low cost data tariff plan is available only from October 7 to October 31. So, it makes it clear that you can get this plan only for once as it will expire later on.
Its a Digital India initiative
BSNL has introduced this plan as a way to fulfill the ambitions of the Digital India drive of the country's Prime Minister. This plan will simply connect the customers to the internet at a very low cost of Rs. 16.
New 2G and 3G plan to be launched
The BSNL Chairman, Anupam Srivastava, stated that the service provider is following the activities of Mukesh Ambani closely. It will release a 2G and 3G plan for the customers in January next year.
