Soon after the Reliance Jio service was officially announced earlier this month, BSNL revealed that it will come up with plans that will match the tariff of Jio.
Lately, BSNL has announced many interesting broadband plans and one such plan is the BSNL BBG Combo Plan priced at Rs 1,199 per month. Also, Reliance Jio is rumored to launch the GigaFiber broadband plan soon.

The BSNL plan comes bundled with unlimited calls offer. Users can enjoy both unlimited local and STD calls for 24 hours with the BSNL broadband plan. The highlight of the GigaFiber internet service from Reliance Jio is that it will also be bundled with the Welcome Offer as the Jio 4G service meant for smartphones. This way, users can enjoy unlimited and free data for 90 days after the launch of the service. While the BSNL BBG 1199 plan will offer a data speed of flat 2 Mbps, the soon to be launched Reliance Jio Gigafiber plan will give speeds ranging from 50 Mbps to 1 Gbps. The BBG 1199 plan is one and the other one is the BB 249 plan that will include 2 GB of data at 2 Mbps and unlimited data at 1 Mbps after crossing the limit. On the other hand, Reliance Jio offers a variety of plans starting from Rs. 1,500 to Rs. 5,500 and each plan has a validity of 30 days. As per the recent reports, the Jio GigaFiber plans have will have data usage limits starting from 2000 GB for the 50 mbps speed plan and range up to 300 GB for the 600 mbps plan. As per the BSNL plan, users can also avail discounts by opting to pay for the BBG 1199 plan for two or three years.
