The first benefit with this starter pack is that you get a good amount of data, which is 0.3GB of data. And, it is truly 4G data, as Jio doesn't have a license for 3G or 2G services in India. However, the data is just on-par with what other telecom services has to offer.

Benefit 2: Unlimited Night Data

Reliance Jio is offering unlimited 4G data with all their plans, but there's a catch with the plans. The night data is limited to 2AM to 5AM, which is quite disappointing. But, something is better than nothing.

This is the best advantage of all the above. Reliance Jio offers unlimited calls for their users as the calls will be made through data itself. However, to make to Reliance Jio call to other people, your smartphone should have support for VoLTE.

Another added advantage. Other telecom services won't provide additional SMS with their normal tariff plans, but Jio is offering 100 SMS with the Rs. 129 pack, which is good to see.
