Vodafone 4G is Faster Than Reliance Jio 4G: How to Upgrade to Vodafone 4G
Vodafone 4G is faster than Reliance Jio 4G, so here's how you can upgrade to the former.
While the Jio service was pretty fast rendering several Mbps of speed during the Preview Offer, it gradually dropped to Kbps level after its launch on September 5 due to the huge demand.
Now, there are reports circulating all over the web that the Reliance Jio speed is too low and it is not the actual 4G speed. There are reports stating that he Jio 4G speed has taken a 23 percent plunge in one month of its launch and it is expected to drop further during the Welcome Offer that is till the end of this year.

In the meantime, the other telecom service providers are slashing their 4G data plan rates and call charges and offering a lot of freebies to attract the buyers. One such service provider is Vodafone that is constantly trying users to upgrade to its 4G service. Here, we have come up with a speed test between Jio and Vodafone and how you can upgrade to a better 4G network.

Vodafone 4G seems to be faster
To get to know more about this, we at Gizbot conducted a speed test and we got to know that the Vodafone 4G service is relatively faster than Reliance Jio 4G. You can check out the above image to know that Vodafone SuperNet 4G is faster than Reliance Jio's service.
Upgrade to Vodafone 4G
Vodafone 4G is not available all over India. You can upgrade to it if your area is under the 4G coverage of the service provider. You need to activate it by upgrading your existing Vodafone SIM card. It is a simple procedure that takes less than 20 minutes.
Here are the steps to upgrade to Vodafone 4G
Get a new Vodafone 4G SIM card
First, you need to make sure you have a 4G smartphone to enjoy the benefits of high speed connectivity offered by Vodafone 4G service. Visit the nearest Vodafone store and upgrade your existing SIM card to a 4G SIM card from the service provider.
Send an SMS
Then, type a new SMS stating SIMEX and enter the 19-digit 4G SIM card number that you have received after a space and send the message to 55199. You will be prompted to enter the last 6 digits again. On doing so, send it to the same number.
Your Vodafone 4G service will be activated
That's it! On the successful completion of these steps, your Vodafone 4G service will be activated. You need to make sure you install the settings that are sent by the service provider on your smartphone to enjoy the high speed connectivity.
