5 Reasons Why Airtel is Better Than Reliance Jio
Eventhough Reliance Jio has come up with several attractive tariff plans, and delivers unlimited internet, here's why it is still far behind Airtel. Know more.
Its just 2 months since Ambani introduced the newbie of the telecom industry, Reliance Jio, and in such a short span of time, the telecom operator has created a tsunami in the telecom industry.
Coming up with free voice calls, unlimited internet, and exciting tariff plans, Reliance Jio has planned out several strategies to beat the old and already existing telecom operators like Airtel, Vodafone, Idea and many others.

However, even after bringing about such attractive tariff plans and more, Jio couldn't take on Airtel's market position. Yes, Airtel has recently been claimed to be the best network in the country as of now.

Here are reasons why, even after Reliance Jio offers such entry level plans along with unlimited calls and internet browsing. Know why Airtel is still ruling the telecom space?
Call Drop Issues are Less
Airtel has no call drop issues. However, the Reliance Jio users have experienced an average call drop issue, which is as high as 90 percent, with its own as well as on different networks. In this regard, the Airtel network is much more reliable and delivers a far better experience for its customers as compared to Jio.
Internet Speed is Double
Earlier Reliance Jio had promised to offer the best mobile data speed India. However, as time passed, Jio internet speed has dropped down drastically to upto 0.4 to 5 mbps. Which when compared to Airtel's 4G, is half the speed. So when internet speed is concerned, Airtel delivers almost double the speed of that of Jio.
Customer Service is Far Better
In case of any problem with the Jio connection, the users might have to wait for several minutes, hours, or also days to connect to the Reliance Jio customer care. Which is surely not the case for Airtel, where users can resolve their problems instantly.
Airtel SIM Cards Valid For 2G 3G and 4G Phones
Unlike that of Reliance Jio SIM cards that are valid only for 4G smartphone users, Airtel SIM cards can be used by all 2G, 3G or 4G mobile users. Airtel leads here, as not everyone in the country owns a 4G smartphone.
Perfectly Works in Remote Areas
Out of 21 circles, Airtel has recently rolled out its 4G services to 19 of them, which is much more than that of Reliance Jio. Unlike Jio, Airtel works perfectly in remote and congested areas as well.
