Google Cloud and Vodafone Tie-up: Find Out the Key Highlights
The partnership between Google Cloud and Vodafone Business Services will bring people together and help them work smarter.
Following their latest partnership with technology major Microsoft for enterprise-grade productivity and collaboration services,Vodafone Business Services (VBS), the enterprise arm of Vodafone India has recently announced that it has formed a new alliance with Google Cloud.
The merger has been formed between the two companies to offer the G Suite which is a set of intelligent productivity, communication and collaboration applications to Indian enterprises.

Basically, the G Suite includes set of apps such as Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, Hangouts, and more which have been designed with real-time collaboration and machine learning to bring people together and help them work smarter.
Moreover, under this tie-up, Vodafone enterprise customers can conveniently and securely access G Suite in a pay-per-use, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model.

In addition, with this strategic tieup, SMBs and large enterprises will get dedicated account and relationship management support. The VBS' 'work standard' plan of Rs 150 per month, will offer customers business class email, HD video conferencing, cloud storage and Google's productivity apps.
Likewise, the 'work unlimited' plan of Rs 650, will enable customers to access all the features of apps for work with unlimited Cloud storage and backup, compliance, discovery, policy management and other admin features.

Nick Gliddon, Director, Vodafone Business Services, expressed that VBS will be delighted to work with Google to help Indian enterprises benefit from substantial productivity gains through the adoption of G Suite using Vodafone.
He further stated that Vodafone has been widely acknowledged as an enterprise mobility leader. Now with its cloud delivery model, the company is well positioned as a total communications partner to Indian enterprises embarking on their digital journeys.
With more than 7.5 million mobility corporate customers, VBS has been providing services to global and national businesses equipped with a robust network infrastructure and a 24x7 NOC.
Nonetheless, the telco has affirmed that VBS has been actively engaged with Public Sector Enterprises and State Governments and will contribute graciously to the vision of Digital India and in setting up of smart cities.
