Huawei Brings Two Smartwatches Exclusively For Women Named As Elegant and Jewel

Following the announcement of GX8 smartphone, the Chinese handset maker Huawei has introduced two new variants of smartwatch exclusively for women. Dubbed as Jewel and Elegant, these smartwatches are powered by Android wear.

Both feature the latest version of Android Wear; iOS and Android compatibility; scratch-resistant, two-layer Sapphire crystal; and 316L cold-forged stainless steel bodies. To further match their distinctive look, Elegant and Jewel will both come with a selection of exclusive watch faces.

Coming to the design, the Elegant variant features a top ring design on a rose-gold plated body, while the Jewel features 68 Swarovski Zirconia encircling the face.

Moving on to the specifications, the Huawei Watch sports a 1.4-inch pixels AMOLED Display with a resolution of 400 x 400 which translates into 286ppi and has scratch-proof sapphire crystal lens.

This wearable is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor besides 512MB RAM under the hood. In terms of software, it is shipped with Android Wear OS compatible with smartphones running Android 4.3 and above.

The Huawei Watch comes with 4GB of inbuilt memory and powered by 300mAh battery. Further, the Huawei Elegant comes at a price of $499 (approx Rs. 33,000), while the Huawei Jewel carries a price tag of $599 (approx Rs. 39,800).
