Today, the Chinese handset maker Xiaomi has confirmed the delay of Mi band 2 launch due to some problems in the production department. Few days back, the company's CEO Lei Jun has teased the Mi Band 2 with the display on his official social networking site Weibo.

Along with Mi Max phablet and MIUI 8, this fitness tracker was supposed to get the launch on May 10 at Beijing National Convention Center. Further, in his Weibo post, Lei Jun wrote, "Mi bracelet 2 productions more difficult, it is estimated to be released one month later."

Moving on to the specifications, the Mi Band 2 will sport a display which is placed alongside a silicon band in yellow color. Mi Band 2 shows time, battery status and it is even expected to display daily steps, BPM, and other statistics. It also sports a physical button on the right side.

On the other side, the company is gearing up for the launch of Mi Max and MIUI 8 on May 10th as promised. Talking about the specifications of Xiaomi Mi Max, it comes packed with 6.4-inch Full HD IPS display, Hexa-Core Snapdragon 650 SoC, 2GB RAM with 16GB ROM/ 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM, Android 6.0, 16MP/5MP camera.

Talking about the MIUI, there has been some noticeable change on the phone apps including Calculator, Camera, and Notes.
This update will be convenient for those who takes note often. In this update, swiping downward with one finger will automatically create a new note while swiping upward with two fingers will delete the note.
In their official blog, they posted that, "If you checked out the video properly, we've revamped the notification shade. Now the notification shade will offer a much more dynamic experience, with core functions exposed and hidden through delicate scrolling. The first noticeable changes are the immersed status bar and the color tone used are more refreshing."
