Xiaomi claims to have shipped over 10 million smartphones in September

It looks September has been a big one for the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi. We say so as the company has shipped over 10 million units of smartphones in the last month across all the markets where it officially operates.

This information was revealed by the CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun. He has thanked the employees and partners while sharing the announcement. Besides managing to ship over 10 million units of smartphones globally, the company has achieved a major milestone in the Indian market as well. In just three years of entering India, the company has shipped over 25 million units of smartphones here. This was announced by the company's India had, Manu Kumar Jain.

The huge leap in sales comes as the Indian Mi fans have started their festive season shopping. To be specific, in India, during the first two days of Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale and Amazon Great Indian Sale in September, Xiaomi sold over million smartphones.
