Harmon Kardon's new range of Omni speakers support Google Cast for streaming music

Harman Kardon has unveiled the next generation Omni line of wireless speakers. The latest collection of speakers is called as Omni+, and includes four speakers, a soundbar and an add-on meant for older non-wireless speakers. These speakers come with improved music streaming capabilities, and have better specs.

 

The company's new speaker line has the Omni 10+, Omni 20+, OmniBar+, Adapt+, and the Omni 50+. The Omni 50+ is a new speaker offering that boasts waterproof capabilities. All the speakers support high-definition audio streaming with 24-bit/192KHz quality, and can be controlled via a companion app. The interesting part is that these devices can be used to beam songs with Spotify Connect or Google Cast. The controller app is available for iOS.

The Omni+ speakers can be connected with the OmniBar+ and be controlled via controller app to sync them together to play music. The speakers offer 5G Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth, Ethernet jack and an aux input.

As far as the pricing is concerned, the Omni+ is the lowest end device amongst all, with its price starting at $199, and the OmniBar+ is the most expensive for $999. The Adapt+ is priced at $129 and can be used with older devices. All these devices are slated to arrive in spring.
