SlimType is a new Smartphone cover made for the Samsung Galaxy S6 or the Galaxy S6 Edge. It is also a QWERTY keypad made for the Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge. The SlimType QWERTy keyboard cum Flip cover is developed by a Norwegian company called One2Touch .

SlimType is smartphone cocer that comes integrated with a portable keyboard powered by NFC.The SlimType smartphone cover cum QWERTY keypad is the first of its kind. The accessory also comes enabled with NFC.

SlimType cover doubles up as QWERTY keyboard for  Samsung Galaxy S6

The SlimType pairs with the Galaxy S6 via NFC after downloading a app from the Google Play Store. The QWERTY keypad has hotkeys, Email, calendar, contacts, Wen applications. The SlimType keyboard allows one to reply to Emails and text messages. It is hard to say if the device is user-friendly but this accessory is good for people who are comfortable with Physical keyboards than the Touch screen keypad.

While the availability of the SlimType cover for the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge is not known. It can be reserved on its official website. The SlimType costs $39 and is available is three color variants: White, Pearl, Black Sapphire and Cherry Red.

The SlimType is compatible only with these two phones ie the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. The QWERTY keyboard can only used in a portrait mode and not a landscape one.
