OnePlus Debuts Watch 2 with eSIM, 100W SuperVOOC Power Bank, and New Buds 3 Color in China

OnePlus has made a splash in the China with a wave of new product announcements. While the spotlight was the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro and the OnePlus Pad Pro, the Chinese tech giant also impressed us with the new Watch 2, a powerful SUPERVOOC 100W power bank, and a sleek new color of the Buds 3.

OnePlus Watch 2

While OnePlus previously released the OnePlus Watch 2 (review) in India and other global markets, China was notably absent from the initial launch. Now, the company has officially introduced the watch in China, incorporating a few changes.

While most specifications remain consistent with the previous version, significant updates make this model stand out.

Key Features of the OnePlus Watch 2

The OnePlus Watch 2 maintains its 1.43-inch AMOLED display, capable of reaching up to 1000 nits of peak brightness. Users can expect vibrant visuals on this 466 x 466 pixels screen, which offers a resolution of 326PPI and a standard maximum brightness of 600 nits. The watch also includes 32GB of standalone storage and is powered by a combination of Snapdragon W5 and BES2700BP processors.

The watch supports both Android (8.0 and later) and iOS (13.0 and later) devices, running on ColorOS Watch 6.0 instead of Wear OS. This version offers over 100 sports modes, including automatic workout detection for six activities, making it suitable for fitness enthusiasts.

Enhanced Connectivity and Durability

A standout feature of the new model is its eSIM support, enabling standalone calling in addition to Bluetooth calling. This makes the watch functional independently of a smartphone. It also includes NFC support for contactless payments.

OnePlus SUPERVOOC 100W Super Flash Charging Power Bank

Alongside the OnePlus Watch 2, OnePlus has introduced a new power bank, the SUPERVOOC 100W Super Flash Charging power bank, enhancing its lineup of charging accessories. This new power bank boasts a capacity of 12000mAh and supports a high output of 100W, positioning it as a competitive option against traditional wall adapters.

High-Speed Charging Capabilities

The 12000mAh power bank can rapidly charge devices, including the OnePlus 12, to 70% in just 17 minutes. It also supports a 45W PD output, making it versatile for charging laptops, computers, and smartwatches. For self-charging, users can utilize 45W SUPERVOOC adapters to fully charge the power bank in approximately 90 minutes.

Weighing 318g, the power bank features a dual-tone design with a premium finish. It is built with 12 layers of safety protection, including safeguards for battery core temperature, overcharge, and over-discharge protection. It also complies with international air transportation standards, making it safe for travel.

Available in Silver Wing White and Green Cloud colors, the SUPERVOOC 100W Super Flash Charging power bank is priced at CNY 299 (approximately USD 41 / Rs. 3,433). It is available for pre-order at a discounted price of CNY 269 (approximately USD 37 / Rs. 3,088), with sales starting on July 25th in China.

OnePlus Buds 3

OnePlus also revealed a new color option for the OnePlus Buds 3, now available in 'Khaki Green.' This new color variant complements the OnePlus Tablet Pro in the same hue and is expected to be released in international markets soon.
