As far as we know, the call screen will now directly investigate robocalls by replying to the calls with questions to find out why the calls are being made to you. The call screen feature is currently under progress, and once it is completely developed we might see the feature working automatically without being controlled by the users. With the call screen, you can either automatically investigate the robocalls, call back, or silently decline the call.

How Call Screen Works

In case there are unknown calls on your phones, Google Assistant will automatically answer these random calls. The identified robocalls out of these random phone calls will be silently declined, and these detected calls won't further be interrupting you. At the same time, the call screen enables Google Assistant to automatically record the calls, while answering them.

It must be learned that the new automatic call screen feature is rolled out as a beta update to the Pixel phones. The feature could take sometime to reach out to the users in its original form. After it is tested successfully without any bugs, the feature will be available on the Google Play Store from where you can download and install.
