itel recently unveiled a new entry-level smartphone in India. The itel A05s is the latest affordable smartphone from the brand and debuts in the country's sub-7K segment.

The itel A05s features a Unisoc chipset, a tall IPS display, a sizeable battery, and runs on Android 13 Go Edition. The itel A05s will compete with other ultra-affordable smartphones like the Infinix Smart 7, Redmi A2, and Realme Narzo 50i Prime, among others.

The itel A05s price in India is set at Rs 6,499 for the sole 2GB/32GB model. itel's entry-level smartphone comes in Nebula Black, Meadow Green, Crystal Blue, and Glorious Orange shades. The handset is already listed on the company's official website.

The itel A05s is powered by an octa-core Unisoc SC9863A chipset with a maximum clock speed of 1.6GHz. The chip is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. The handset also runs Android 13 Go Edition out of the box.

The itel A05s sports a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The screen boasts a pixel density of 270 PPI and a touch sampling rate of 120Hz.

For optics, the device gets a 5 MP rear camera with an LED flash module and a 5 MP selfie camera housed in the waterdrop notch. Connectivity options on the itel A05s include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, and more.

The entry-level smartphone also packs a 4,000 mAh battery with 10W charging support, although only a 5W adapter is included in the box. The itel A05s also supports Face Unlock and a rear-mounted fingerprint reader.
