OnePlus 11R 5G Solar Red variant with Vegan Leather Back launched in India

OnePlus has officially unveiled a new version of its sub-40K OnePlus 11R. To recall, the OnePlus 11R 5G arrived in India earlier this year in February alongside the OnePlus 11 5G.

The OnePlus 11R 5G initially debuted in Galactic Silver and Sonic Black color options, with the former opting for a glossy glass rear panel and the latter featuring a matte glass back. Now, OnePlus has revealed a new version of the 11R 5G with a vegan leather back panel.

OnePlus 11R 5G Solar Red Edition

This variant of the OnePlus 11R 5G is titled 'Solar Red'. And it features a soft, vegan leather back panel with a red finish. Additionally, the OnePlus 11R 5G Solar Red variant also features a silver-colored camera bump and visible faux stitching on the back.

The OnePlus 11R 5G Solar Red model looks like the OnePlus Ace 2 Genshin Impact Special Edition, which was unveiled in China earlier this year. The new OnePlus 11R 5G Solar Red variant will also come with 18GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

The OnePlus 11R 5G Solar Red edition will go on sale in India on October 7 at 12 midnight through Amazon and the OnePlus Store. However, the OnePlus 11R 5G in its traditional red color finish features the same specifications as the original device.

OnePlus 11R 5G Specifications

The OnePlus 11R 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone also gets a 5177.46 sq.mm VC cooling area with eight-channel heat dissipation. The handset is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 100W SuperVOOC fast charging.

The OnePlus 11R 5G sports a 6.74-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a 1000Hz touch response rate, a peak brightness of 1450 nits, and a 450 PPI pixel density. The "Super Fluid" screen hides an under-display fingerprint scanner and supports HDR10+. The phone packs stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

For optics, the OnePlus 11R 5G has a triple-camera setup on the back that includes a 50 MP Sony IMX890 sensor with an f/1.8 main camera and OIS support, an 8 MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2 MP macro unit. Up front, there's a 16MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture for selfies. The OnePlus 11R 5G runs Android 13 with OxygenOS 13 on top.

OnePlus 11R 5G Price in India

The OnePlus 11R 5G price in India is set at Rs 39,999 for the 8GB/128GB model, while the 16GB/256GB variant will set you back Rs 44,999. OnePlus is yet to reveal pricing of its latest special edition device, so we'll have to wait until October 7 to find out. Additionally, the OnePlus 11R 5G is also expected to be available at a discounted price during the Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale.
