OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra Launched With Dimensity 9500, 8,600mAh Battery, Gaming Controller Support
OnePlus has launched the Ace 6 Ultra in China, and this one clearly targets mobile gamers.
The phone is powered by MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9500 chipset, built on TSMC’s third-generation 3nm process. OnePlus claims the chip delivers up to 32 percent better performance while reducing power consumption by 55 percent compared to the previous generation.

To keep thermals in check, the company has added its “Wind Chaser Gaming Kernel,” a Glacier Cooling System, and a large 6000mm² vapor chamber. The idea here is simple: maintain stable performance during long gaming sessions.
Gaming Controller Is The Big Talking Point
What makes the Ace 6 Ultra stand out is support for an optional Strix Gaming Controller.
Unlike traditional controllers, this one skips joysticks and instead uses mechanical trigger buttons with a claimed 1.8ms response time. It also includes an independent esports chip and supports magnetic cooling accessories.
This feels like OnePlus trying to build more of a gaming ecosystem instead of just releasing another performance phone.
Display, Camera, And Battery
The Ace 6 Ultra features a 6.78-inch BOE LTPS OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It also supports 4000Hz touch sampling.
For cameras, there’s a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 16MP front camera.

Battery capacity is unusually large here. The phone packs an 8,600mAh dual-cell battery with support for 120W wired charging.
It also ships with Android 16-based ColorOS 16, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage.
Price And Availability
The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra starts at CNY 3,499 (around ₹48,000) for the 12GB + 256GB model and goes up to CNY 5,099 (around ₹70,000) for the 16GB + 1TB variant.
The optional gaming controller costs roughly ₹8,900.
There’s no word yet on an India launch.
