Oppo Reno 3 With Dual-Mode 5G, ColorOS 7 Confirmed For December Launch

Oppo launched its latest customizable Android skin ColorOS 7 on November 20 in China, and the company has also confirmed that it will launch it in Indian on November 26. Now, the company has announced the first smartphone which will run the latest Android skin out-of-the-box will be the Oppo Reno 3 series smartphones. Here are the details:

Oppo Reno 3 launch

The company has revealed that the Oppo Reno 3 series will come with dual-mode 5G support and it will be launched in December. The company has also posted an image on Weibo confirming the phone will be compatible with NSA and SA standards both.

The post also confirmed that the Reno 3 series will be the first phone to launch with ColorOS 7. However, there is no information whether the ColorOS 7 will arrive with the latest Android 10 or the company will stick to the Android Pie. Oppo confirmed the China launch of the Reno 3 next month, but there is still no information about when the Oppo Reno 3 series will make its way to India.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Oppo Reno 3 is expected to arrive with the quad-camera setup with the combination of 60MP primary camera + 8MP telephoto lens + 13MP wide-angle lens + 2MP depth sensor, along with an LED flash. Upfront, the smartphone is said to house a 32MP selfie shooter.

The smartphone is said to sport a 6.5-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen is said to carry 90Hz refresh rate and the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 735SoC, clubbed with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
