Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Could Feature Major Camera Enhancements
While the launch of Samsung's Galaxy S25 series is still a long way off, rumours have already started buzzing the internet. Now, the latest development has brought the camera details of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, giving us an idea of what to expect from the upcoming premium model. Let's check all the details here.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Camera Details Leaked
According to tipster Ice Universe, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will pack the same quad-camera setup as its predecessors, with a major upgrade to both the ultra-wide and telephoto lenses. The phone will sport a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP super telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom.

Compared to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which featured a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, this represents a significant improvement. The primary and super telephoto sensors remain at 200MP and 50MP, respectively.
Earlier rumours suggested that Samsung might opt for a triple rear camera setup on the S25 Ultra. However, this latest leak from Ice Universe confirms that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will retain the same quad-camera setup.
Moreover, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset and run on Android 15 with OneUI 7. Design changes are likely to be minimal compared to the S24 Ultra.
Samsung's Upcoming Unpacked Event
Samsung's next Unpacked event is expected to take place on July 10. As mentioned earlier, the event is anticipated to witness the unveiling of Samsung's new foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
Interestingly, this year, Samsung is also expected to launch a total of three foldable phones. While the company typically launches only two foldables, it is expected that two Galaxy Z Fold models with a book-style folding mechanism will be released alongside the clamshell-style Galaxy Z Flip 6. Though all are speculations, so it's better to take it with a pinch of salt.
