Samsung Galaxy Buds4 And Buds4 Pro Launched in India: New Design, AI Features - Check Price, Specs, Offers

Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy Buds4 and Galaxy Buds4 Pro alongside its Galaxy S26 lineup.

The new earbuds bring a noticeable design refresh, updated audio hardware, and expanded Galaxy-exclusive features, while keeping pricing in line with the previous generation.

A Redesigned Look That Moves Away From The Past

Samsung has reworked the design this year. Both models now feature flat metal stems, replacing the previous triangular style. The Pro version continues to use silicone ear tips, while the standard Buds 4 retain an open-fit design.

The charging case also changes direction. Instead of vertically placed earbuds, Samsung uses a horizontal, bed-style layout with a transparent lid. The overall aesthetic feels distinct from typical AirPods-style designs.

Samsung says the shape is based on extensive ear data and simulations aimed at improving comfort, though both models still follow familiar in-ear and open-fit philosophies.

Gesture Controls Expand Beyond Touch

Touch gestures remain, including swipe, pinch, and tap. Samsung has added an engraved area on the stem to make swipe zones easier to locate by feel.

The bigger update comes on the Galaxy Buds4 Pro, which now support head gestures. Users can nod to answer calls or shake their head to decline them. These gestures also work with Bixby. Both models continue to support voice commands like adjusting volume or pausing playback.

However, several features remain Galaxy-exclusive. Head gestures, Interpreter Mode, AI chatbot access without unlocking the phone, and seamless pairing are limited to Samsung devices. The earbuds will still connect to other Bluetooth devices, but some advanced features won’t carry over. Samsung also does not support Fast Pair or the LDAC codec.

Audio Upgrades And Adaptive Features

Both models support up to 24-bit/96kHz audio when paired with compatible Galaxy phones. HD Voice support is also included for clearer call quality, assuming carrier and device support.

The Galaxy Buds4 Pro include a tweeter and woofer combination, along with Enhanced Dynamic ANC and adaptive EQ. Samsung says these systems adjust noise cancellation and sound output based on the user’s ear shape and surroundings.

The standard Galaxy Buds4 use a single-speaker setup with ANC 1.0, while the Pro model includes ANC 2.0 with more granular tuning options.

Water resistance differs slightly between the two. The Buds4 are rated IP54, while the Buds 4 Pro carry an IP57 rating.

Battery Life And Charging

Samsung claims up to seven hours of playback on the Buds4 Pro with ANC off and six hours with ANC enabled. The charging case extends total playback to 30 hours without ANC and 26 hours with ANC.

The standard Buds4 offer up to six hours of playback without ANC and five hours with ANC on. Their case supports up to 30 hours of playback with ANC off and 24 hours with ANC enabled.

Both models support wireless charging through their cases.

India Price, Availability, And Offers

The Galaxy Buds4 are priced at ₹16,999, while the Galaxy Buds4 Pro cost ₹22,999. Pre-orders are currently open on Samsung’s official website, and deliveries will begin on March 6.

Samsung is also offering a bundled discount for customers who purchase the earbuds alongside a Galaxy S26 series smartphone. Under this offer, the Galaxy Buds4 and Buds4 Pro are eligible for a 15% price reduction, capped at ₹2,500 and ₹3,449, respectively.

Lastly, both the Galaxy Buds4 and Buds4 Pro are available in Black and White, with the Pro model also offered in Pink Gold as an online-exclusive colour.
