Airtel Launches New Rs 1099 Prepaid Plan With 300GB Data: Check Perks And Validity
Airtel has quietly added a new Rs 1099 prepaid plan to its lineup, and this one is clearly designed for people who burn through data.

The plan combines long validity with a large data allowance, but once you look beyond the headline number, it’s fairly straightforward. There aren’t many bundled extras here. It’s mostly about connectivity.
What The Rs 1099 Airtel Plan Includes
The Rs 1099 prepaid plan comes with 84 days of service validity. Users get unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day as part of the pack.
On the data front, Airtel is offering access to both 4G and 5G networks. The allocation is 300GB every 28 days. That means during the 84-day validity period, the 300GB cap resets every 28 days rather than being pooled for the entire duration.
So while it’s positioned as unlimited data across 4G and 5G, there is a defined high-speed usage limit within each cycle.
If you cross the daily 100 SMS limit, standard charges apply at Re 1 for local SMS and Rs 1.5 for STD.
Not Much In The Way Of Add-Ons
If you’re expecting OTT subscriptions or bundled streaming access, this plan doesn’t really offer that.
The only visible add-on benefit is free Hello Tunes. That’s it.
For users who mostly care about data and calling, that may not matter. But compared to plans that bundle entertainment subscriptions, this one keeps things minimal.
How It Stacks Up Against Other Airtel Plans
Airtel has also introduced other prepaid options priced at Rs 399 and Rs 449 that come with unlimited 4G data. Those plans provide 300GB of data as well, but only for 28 days.
The Rs 449 plan goes a step further by including access to JioHotstar Mobile for 28 days, along with Sony LIV Premium and more than 20 OTT platforms through Airtel Xstream Play.
In contrast, the Rs 1099 plan stretches validity to 84 days but doesn’t include those streaming perks.
If your priority is a longer recharge cycle and consistent data availability, the Rs 1099 plan makes sense on paper. If bundled entertainment is important, the lower-priced options might look more attractive.
