The voice-based virtual assistant, Cortana was exclusively made for the smartphones running the Windows Phone OS. Now, it enters to the desktop platform with Windows 10.

It is a personal digital assistant that helps you to get things done. It learns your preference to provide relevant recommendations including fast access to information and important reminders. Interacting with Cortana is easy by talking or typing.

Microsoft removed the start menu when it release the Windows 8. Now the company has re-introduced the start menu in the Windows 10. The new start menu looks better and also supports customization such as re-size start menu window space, and comes with Live Tiles similar to the Windows Phone.

The Windows 10 comes with new security advancements including facial recognition feature called Microsoft Hello. This features will let users to log in without ever typing in password using a webcam. It recognizes users automatically and completes the authentication process.
