CES 2012: Verizon brings iPad app to Android

At the CES 2012 in Las Vegas, Verizon Wireless along with The Daily has made an announcement about an agreement to bring the iPad news app to certain selected Android powered tablets.

From this month, The Daily app will be pre-installed on the Verizon's Samsung Tablet, Galaxy Tab 10.2 and also on the Galaxy Tab 7.7 but after sometime.

Both The Daily and Verizon claim that more tablet supports are in progress. If you are having any of these devices, then you can pay your subscription fees conveniently by linking it to the bill of Verizon Wireless.

It is a success for the Android devices to have the top seller making its way to the mobile operating system of Google from iOS. The app for Android is free for a week and the subscriptions after than will cost $3.99 per month and 39.99 per year.
