Chrome 25 For Android Launched With Background Music Playback

Software giants Google, recently announced Chrome 25 for Android, which is said to come with various enhancements including improved improved scrolling performance, increased responsiveness to pinch-zooming on pages, faster interactive pages mainly due to the latest version of the V8 javascript engine, continued audio play while Chrome is in the background and expanded support for HTML5 features. Apart from these, various bugs have been fixed and a few UI adjustments have been implemented.

Previously there were complaints about Chrome not playing audio content when running in the background, but that's all changed, as the latest version of Chrome for android brings a fix to the issue. To explain things more clearly - Suppose you have music running in the browser, for example on YouTube and you switch over to another app, the music still keeps playing in the background.

This update also picks up other important stability and performance fixes since the last release, along with some minor UI adjustments," Google noted in blog post.

Crome Browser is known for it's fast Browsing speeds. It offers accelerated page loading, scrolling and zooming and in case you don't already have Crome for your Android smartphones you can download it via Google Play.
