Comedy Central App for iPhone Launched: Offers Free Streaming for Select Shows
Here's some great news for all those of you who like to stay connected to your daily soaps and South Parks. According to reports, Comedy Central has launched its own mobile app for iPhone and iPad which offers a slew of content at your fingertips wherever you are.
As revealed via reports, the app is set to launch with 200 episodes of the most popular and favorite Comedy Central TV shows, including The Daily Show, The Colbert Report and South Park. Interestingly, all the three are available for streaming for free without any extra cost.
"Get the latest episodes of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Colbert Report, South Park and @midnight, plus other shows. Seriously, there's hours and hours of stuff to watch: sign in with your TV provider to access everything, including Tosh.0, Key & Peele, Workaholics and more," the official description for the same states.
"You can also kick back with great stand-up specials, archive shows (including Chappelle's Show) and full seasons of returning series."

The app offers full episodes that are updated regularly with the new content from the previous day's shows. Apart from that, users can even check out stand-up specials and can archive selected episodes (including every episode of Chappelle's Show).
Moreover, expect the app to remember where you left off the episode while watching previously as the app will start an episode from the very place you stopped watching. And if you like something, you can also share the clip with your buddies for them to enjoy the same.
While all that sounds exciting, it is important to notify users that there's still a catch. The catch here is that you'll need to sign in with your television cable provider in order to get free access to everything that has been provided in the app.
The Comedy Central app is available in the iTunes App Store as a free download, with the app also working with both iPhone and iPad.
