Facebook Revamps Feed, Search, and Navigation Systems to Improve Discovery
Facebook has announced a few improvements designed to cut through the clutter and make it easier for users to update their profiles and find new content through search. The app is now rolling out refreshed UI elements across the feed, search, and navigation to help users quickly find what they need. Here's what's new!
Smarter, Cleaner Feed
Feed has now become simpler and more immersive, making it easier to enjoy the content you care about most and connect with others over shared interests. Now, when one posts multiple photos, they will be arranged in a standardised grid. Facebook will also allow you to like photos in Feed by double-tapping them and see Feed content in full screen when you click into it.

Moreover, Reels, Friends, Marketplace, and Profile will be front and centre in your tab bar. There will also be a refreshed menu design and cleaner tab notifications. The search results will now show more content in a more immersive grid layout that supports all content types.
Facebook is also testing a new full-screen viewer that lets users explore different photo and video results without losing their place in search.
Simplified Content Creation
Facebook has also redesigned the way we create Stories and Feed posts. You can easily find adding music and tagging friends buttons. Audience and cross-posting settings are prominently displayed in the composer.
Facebook has also simplified commenting across Feed, Groups, and Reels with cleaner replies, clearer badges, and new pinning tools. Admins and creators get expanded controls to manage discussions, and users can now anonymously flag off-topic or inappropriate comments.
Make Easier to Find Real Connections
Facebook is also making profiles more useful for real connections by helping you find people who share your interests. When you update your profile, the platform will show you friends with similar passions.
The refreshed profile experience lets others learn more about you - from your work and hometown to your favorite shows, music, hobbies, and travels. You can control who sees each detail and choose whether to share updates to your feed.
