Amazon Fire TV users are in for a surprise. The company has joined hands with the Cupertino giant Apple to allow its user base to access Apple TV app content on the company's Fire TV streaming devices, including the Fire TV Stick. Starting today, the Amazon Fire TV users in over 60 countries can download and stream the content from the Apple TV app.

The Apple TV app is now available today for Fire TV Stick (2nd Gen) and Fire TV Stick 4K, in the United States, India, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain. Moreover, the company also mentions that the Fire TV Basic Edition customers in more than 50 countries will also be able to access the app today in Australia, Austria, New Zealand, Brazil, Ireland, Mexico, and many other counties.

How To Access Apple TV App Content On Amazon Fire TV Stick

• Search for Apple TV app in the App section of the Amazon market store.

• Click on Install to download and install the app on the Fire TV stick.

• Log in to Apple TV app via their Apple ID.

If you haven't signed up on the Apple TV app, you can log in from an Apple device or visit the Apple official website. It is worth mentioning that Apple TV app users will be able to watch previously purchased/rented content on the Fire TV platform.

Interestingly, the Alexa voice remote will also support the Apple TV streaming service. You can simply give voice commands to the Alexa remote or a paired Echo device for far-field voice control to discover and stream content on the big screen. Beginning November 1, Apple TV + will also be available to subscribers on the Apple TV app on the Fire TV.


Apple TV is home to several Apple Originals from Apple TV+. Some popular titles on the Apple TV includes- Dickinson, The Morning Show, See, For All Mankind, The Elephant Queen, etc. Apple TV+ streaming service will be available from November 1, 2019 at Rs. 99 per month after 7-day trial period.
