Feedly Reader for Android and iOS have been updated to bring a range of new features. The recently updated app looks similar to the Google reader. Google discontinued it's Google reader services which left a lot of users feeling dry. Feedly emerged, a beneficiary of this, as it reported that it had received 3 million new members, after the demise of Google's service.
The 14.0.9 version for Android is said to bring a faster and more intuitive vertical transition model, new layouts for Samsung Galaxy, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10, better control over the list, magazine and mosaic views, better youtube integration and new explore panel. Apart from these features various bug fixes have been implemented. The updated version of Feedly for android, is available for download on Google Play
The 14.0.9 version for iPhones and iPad is said to to bring new feed search and discovery feature, new title only view, more controls over layouts, enhanced sharing & save for later feature, new "Must Read" section to easily organize the feeds you don't want to miss. Users can now, customize favorite sharing tool to G+, Buffer, Twitter, Facebook, Email or browser; customize favorite save for later tool to pocket, mark as read card at the end of each sections, pull to refresh in the home selector. Apart from these feature a bug which caused random logouts, along with few other issues, have been fixed. The updated version of Feedly for iOS, is available for download at Apple iTunes store.
