Gaana Music Streaming App Now Available for Windows Phone Device Owners
India's one of the popular music streaming app - Ganna.com has been finally released for Windows Phone devices. The app is already available for iOS, Android, J2ME, BlackBerry. Available on the Windows Phone Store, the application can be downloaded right away for free.
Ganna.com offers an extensive catalog of songs in Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu and songs in 21 other languages. The app will allow a user to browse through curated playlists, search for individual songs, stream and play songs, add them to custom playlists, sync them across the web and your phone. The app can give smart recommendations to listen to similar songs, artists, or albums. You can also easily share your favorites with friends on Facebook, Twitter, or by email.
Reportedly, WP version of the app was launched by Satyan Gajwani, CEO of Times Internet Limited at Microsoft's TechEd 2013 event in Bangalore today (March 19). The app runs on Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 7.5.
Gaana.com was launched in June 2011 by Indiatimes. Since then the service has gone on to become India's largest music website. The newly introduced app for windows will allow users to search their favorites from over 1 million songs - whether it's English, Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi, Marathi, and other languages.
