Google+ for Android Updated: Photo Enhancement Tools on the Cards
Here's some updated love for all those using the Google+ social networking app on their Android smartphones. According to reports, Google+ for Android has received a substantial update that includes a host of new enhancements for all the budding and experienced photographers, apart from a couple of basic bug fixes.
With the basic idea of photography in mind, Google has started pushing out the new update for the Google+ app that includes new filters, viewing modes, and editing tools.
Users can now view all their images in one single display, irrespective of whether the files are stored locally or in the cloud. And while the company is still working on the update, Google says that a library feature for categorizing a huge number of images together are coming via a new update in the upcoming weeks.
Apart from that, the non-destructive editor, via the new update, now supports cross-device editing via the cloud. This will let users begin working on an image in one phone and finish it up on another device altogether. Also, users can backup full-resolution photos from their desktop, edit them on the phone, and then add the finishing touches from another device, say a tablet.

There's also the new ‘All' view that displays user's entire photo library - irrespective of whether it's present on the current device, or is backed up in the cloud. If the user's library is really large, the app won't show all the photos initially. However, Google has promised that it will start supporting larger and larger libraries over the next few weeks.

The new update is now available for free on Google Play as version 4.3, although the staged rollout may take a while to show up for different users.
