Google Meet Now Lets You Share Full System Audio During Presentations
Google Meet now lets you share full system audio in meetings. The tech giant confirms that users can share their device audio when presenting a specific window or their entire screen. Earlier, presenters could only share audio from the specific Chrome tab they were presenting.
This is a highly requested feature, which now makes it easy to present videos and other content with audio from any app or source on your computer. Google also says in its blog that ''This will help to create a more immersive experience for your audience, while removing potential for any echoes, ensuring your presentations are clear and professional.'' Here's how it works:

How It Works
When you select the "Present" option, you can still see the "Also share tab audio" toggle, but if you want to share entire system audio, you can choose the new "Also share system audio" toggle. Enabling this option allows all sounds played on the device to be shared with meeting participants.
It's also worth noting that the operating system must be macOS 14.0.2 or later or Windows 11 or newer, and the browser must be Google Chrome version 142 or later to get this feature.
Moreover, there is no admin control to enable or disable this feature, as admin can only manage screen sharing in general. The feature is not available for users whose audio is merged with other devices using adaptive audio; however, these users can still share audio when presenting a Chrome tab. The new update is now available to all Google Workspace customers, Workspace Individual subscribers, and users with personal Google accounts.
