Google Now Launcher Goes Official For All Handsets With Android 4.1 and Higher
Google Now is a brilliant addition that first saw the light of the day with the arrival of the previously released Google Nexus 5 running Android 4.4 (KitKat). But the treat soon moved on to many more handsets. And now it seems like the treat is getting even better.
According to reports, Google today has released the Google Now Launcher for all devices running Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) or higher. This means all the Jelly Bean devices can also now make full use of the service.

"Today we're releasing the Google Now Launcher for all devices that run Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and higher," the official post for the same states.
"The Google Now Launcher gives you a home screen that's clean, simple and customizable. One swipe leads to Google Now cards, bringing you the right information at just the right time."
"Tapping the search box or saying 'Ok Google' lets you ask a question or search the web. And of course, you can easily add your favorite apps, widgets and wallpaper," it adds.
