JioHotstar Premium Ad-Free Plan Could Reportedly Get a Price Hike Soon — Here’s How Much It Might Cost
JioHotstar, India's leading streaming service, has 300 million paying subscribers. The platform offers multiple plans, starting at just ₹50 per month. Now, the JioHotstar Premium Ad-Free plan is reportedly set to receive a price hike soon. Here's how much it could cost.
Premium Ad-Free Plan Could Reportedly Get a Price Hike
Tipster Abhishek Yadav has spotted the increased pricing of the JioHotstar Premium Ad-Free plan on Reddit. He also pointed out that instead of improving live streaming quality, the platform appears to be focusing on raising prices.

According to the shared screenshot, the Premium Ad-Free plan could soon cost ₹799 for three months and ₹2,499 for one year, up from the current ₹499 and ₹1,499, respectively. While there's no official confirmation from JioHotstar yet, the screenshot indicates that the plan benefits will remain unchanged despite the price hike.
Users will be able to access content on up to four devices at a time, stream across supported platforms such as mobile, web, and living room devices, and enjoy ad-free entertainment-except during live content like sports and other live shows, which will continue to include ads.
Moreover, JioHotstar also offers more affordable Ad-Supported plans. The Mobile plan, priced at ₹149 for three months and ₹499 per year, allows access to content on a single mobile device at a time.
For users who want to stream on up to two devices simultaneously, there's the Super plan (also Ad-Supported), priced at ₹299 for three months and ₹899 per year. There is no hint if the platform has any plan to increase the pricing for its Ad-Supported plans.
