Microsoft, WhatsApp Collaborating To Bring Back App on Windows Phone Store
Is your smartphone currently based on the Windows Phone operating system, and are you already missing your favorite WhatsApp messenger? Worry not as there might still be some good news on the horizon.
According to reports, the popular WhatsApp messenger, that was recently removed from the Windows Phone store due to bugs and "other issues," could still come back to the Windows Phone Store sooner than you think.
Apparently, Softpedia is carrying a new piece stating that the WhatsApp messenger will soon come back for the Windows Phone. The report says that "WhatsApp has finally listened to users' feedback and has decided to fix all the notification and battery drainage issues that lots of Windows Phone users have experienced since Microsoft launched Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview."
The report adds that even though most of these issues related to the app "only affected Windows Phone 8.1 early adopters," Microsoft's Joe Belfiore has confirmed that the "notification core in this version of the platform is different than in Windows Phone 8."

Apart from that, it has also been highlighted that the WhatsApp notification issue is in Windows Phone 8 Update 3, "which is rather curious."
As of now, it is to be seen whether or not WhatsApp developers plan on adding new features to the application, before eventually pushing it to the Windows Phone Store.
