Samsung has been toiling hard with their Tizen OS based on the Linux operating system ever since it launched its first phone the Samsung Z1.

With odd quirks and lack of support for popular apps, the Tizen OS has failed to achieve the popularity enjoyed by Android. However it seems like Samsung is buckling up to make a change soon enough and improve the fate of the OS.

Angry Birds now coming to Tizen OS: May be bundled with Samsung Z3

With their Samsung Z3 smartphone scheduled to launch in a few months, the Korean electronics giant seems to have succeeded to convince Rovio, the makers of Angry Birds to develop the app for their Tizen OS. The news was officially published by a Samsung US official on his twitter handle earlier today.

Due to the lack of popularity of OS among users and some major quirks, the Tizen OS had failed to attract eyeballs of developers worldwide, thereby leading to the dearth of apps in the native app store. But with the Rovio accepting Samsung's deal it seems that other developers will soon tread the Tizen path.

Angry Birds is presently available in Android and iOS devices alike. In fact it was one of the popular games in the Android markets a few year back. However with the inception of Subway Surfers, Temple Run and a few others the game had fallen out of the users list until Angry Birds pushed in a major upgrade earlier this year.
