Discord Nitro Now Comes With Free Xbox Game Pass, Discounts on Gaming Accessories, and Monthly Orbs

Discord has announced a major expansion of its Nitro subscription with a new programme called Nitro Rewards. The update adds several gaming-focused offers to the membership, including Xbox Game Pass access, discounts on gaming accessories, and additional in-app rewards.

The rollout is starting now and will gradually expand to eligible Nitro subscribers over the coming weeks.

Xbox Game Pass Is Now Included With Nitro

The biggest addition is a starter edition of Xbox Game Pass, which Discord says is now bundled with Nitro at no additional cost.

According to the company, the included plan gives subscribers access to a library of more than 50 PC and console games. Users can download and play supported titles directly through the service.

The bundled tier also includes 10 hours of cloud gaming support, allowing games to be streamed across compatible devices.

Discord highlighted several games currently available through the offer, including Fallout 4, Stardew Valley, DayZ, Deep Rock Galactic, Overcooked 2, and Grounded. The company says new titles will continue to be added periodically.

Nitro Members Are Also Getting Hardware Discounts

Apart from Xbox Game Pass access, Nitro subscribers are also receiving discounts on gaming accessories and peripherals through partner brands.

The currently announced offers include:

• Up to 30 percent off Logitech G products
• 15 percent off SteelSeries accessories
• 20 percent off KontrolFreek products

Discord says these offers will rotate over time, with more gaming-related partnerships expected in the future.

The discounts apply to products such as gaming mice, keyboards, headsets, and controller accessories depending on the participating brand and eligible items.

Discord Is Expanding Orbs Rewards Too

Discord is also making changes to its Orbs rewards system as part of the Nitro Rewards launch.

Nitro subscribers will now receive 250 Orbs every month automatically. The company is also adding an Orbs Multiplier feature that increases rewards earned through completed Quests.

Orbs can later be redeemed through Discord's Shop for cosmetic items and other in-app upgrades.

Nitro Is Moving Beyond Discord-Only Features

Nitro has traditionally focused on platform-specific features like HD streaming, custom profiles, animated avatars, and larger file uploads.

With Nitro Rewards, Discord appears to be expanding the subscription into a broader gaming membership that includes external services and retail offers alongside existing platform perks.

In its announcement blog, Discord said Nitro Rewards marks the biggest expansion to the subscription since Nitro launched nearly 10 years ago.
