Instagram Creators Can Now Filter DM Requests; Gets Story Replies Tab
Instagram has introduced a new feature aimed at simplifying interactions between creators and businesses via direct messages (DMs). By allowing users to categorize message requests based on the type of account sending them, the platform facilitates a more organized experience for content creators.
This development is part of Instagram's broader efforts to enhance service for the creator community. Creators now have the ability to organize their DMs by either the most recent messages or by the number of followers the sender has.

This sorting feature is complemented by the ability to filter messages from verified accounts, other creators, businesses, and subscribers. This initiative aims to make it simpler for creators to navigate their inboxes and prioritize their responses.
Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram, highlighted the company's commitment to improving creator experiences on the platform. "This feature can help creators to find the important messages they don't want to miss," he stated. Furthermore, Instagram has introduced a Story Replies tab, which consolidates all responses to a story in a single location, further simplifying user interaction.
Instagram's ongoing introduction of innovative features shows its commitment to leading social media trends and meeting its community's changing needs. Whether enhancing DM functionality for creators or offering new ways for all users to express themselves, Instagram aims to provide a dynamic and engaging platform.
Instagram recently introduced a new tool designed to simplify the process of connecting with others on its platform. Known as the "profile card," this feature incorporates a dual-component system for enhanced interaction. It presents personal information such as the user's profile picture, bio, and user category on one side. On the flip side, it sports a QR code, which enables swift profile access.
This innovative approach allows for immediate engagement with a user's content, streamlining the networking process within the Instagram community. The profile card effectively bridges the gap between discovering and connecting with new accounts, highlighting Instagram's ongoing efforts to enhance interactivity and user connectivity on its platform.
