Microsoft Outlook For iOS Updated With Split View
Microsoft Outlook for iOS is rolling out some new features for the second time this year. The earlier update rolled out dark mode settings alongside other features. Now, a new set of updates and productivity features on Microsoft Outlook for iOS will roll out in the coming weeks and some of them are solely for iPad, a report states.

Microsoft Outlook For iOS iPad
The Microsoft Outlook for iOS will feature some updates that will be available for both iPad and iPhone users. However, features like the Split View will launch for iPadOS only. The idea here is to make multitasking easier and more efficient on the iPad, where users can open multiple emails, access the calendar, and other tabs with the Split View feature.
Additionally, the Microsoft Outlook for iOS on the iPad will have a new ‘drag and drop' feature. The ‘drag and drop' feature aims to help move the content from an app on the iPad to Outlook. This could be anything like texts from a browser, dropped into an email.

Microsoft Outlook For iOS
Apart from the above-mentioned features, Microsoft Outlook for iOS is set to launch some features which will be available on both, iPad and iPhone. For instance, the new Do Not Disturb feature on the Microsoft Outlook is available for all iOS devices. As the name suggests, it allows the user to mute notifications for emails. Users can also pick a time for the feature like Evenings, Until Tomorrow, Weekends or on a scheduled frame.

Microsoft Outlook For Apple Watch
Microsoft Outlook for iOS has dedicated feature updates for the Apple Watch as well. The Microsoft Outlook on the Apple Watch can now be customized, allowing users to access their emails on the move. Integrated with Siri shortcuts, the Microsoft Outlook is expected to make work easier on the go.
Lastly, the Microsoft Outlook for iOS will allow users to access iCloud and local files in the Files app. The mailing app will help users move their emails in specific folders with customized settings. The next time an email is drafted to that client, the Microsoft Outlook app will automatically suggest moving it to the customized folder. Microsoft is expected to announce new features for Mac in the coming weeks.
