This App will let you know if your smartphone has missed on an Android security patch

It was recently discovered that the Android smartphone manufacturers were skipping on releasing the occasional security patch for their devices. The Android security updates is an important aspect of an Android smartphone's security firewall. So skipping on one update could be a threat to device's security and the users might not feel safe while using their devices. As we mentioned earlier it was only recently discovered that some OEMs skip the release of monthly security updates for their smartphone and mostly the entry-segment phones were the victims. Some brands even mislead their customers by releasing a renamed security patch which usually is not up to date.

It was also reported by the Cybersecurity analysts from Security Research Labs (SRL) that apart from the missed updates some OEMs also lie about releasing the security updates altogether.
