WhatsApp Releases New Version For iPhones: Everything You Should Know
WhatsApp has released a new version of its iPhone app which comes with a couple of major changes. The new version includes the Group Privacy Settings which can be used globally on your iPhone. The new WhatsApp version for iPhone will now hide display notification badges for muted chats.
Besides, the updated version features new alignment guidelines using which you can position stickers, emojis, and more while editing media in WhatsApp.
The new app comes with a new splash screen which is the initial loading screen of the app depicting the WhatsApp logo in the middle of a white background. The new Group Privacy Settings feature comes upgraded with a new group setting option called "My Contacts Except."
Using the My Contacts Except option, you can refrain from the contacts which will invite you to join the group. The new option brings an option using which you can completely avoid being a part of any group.
Furthermore, WhatsApp comes with a new support page on its website which will help users to fix iCloud backup issues. And, the app's troubleshooting page provides optimal solutions as to why the users would want to create or restore a backup.
Based on a report, WhatsApp will introduce the "Dark Mode" feature which has been spotted in its beta version. The latest update of the Dark Mode is available with version 2.19.289. With this feature, you will experience a bug-free experience.
Not to forget that the upgraded WhatsApp is currently available as a beta program. After it is tested and remains free of bugs, the new version will roll out to all iPhone users.
