    Nokia offers free apps worth Rs 3,850


    Nokia has announced that will offer popular games and apps for free. The users are eligible for this on purchasing handsets like Nokia C5-03, C5-05, 500, 603 and 701. The total worth of these free apps and games is Rs 3,850.

    Users who buy any of the above models must send an SMS to 55555. The code for SMS is Nokiaapps. For instance, if a user buys Nokia C5, the SMS will be NokiaappsC5. The users will receive the official confirmation through SMS.

    Among the free games are the exciting titles from EA Sports. Sports enthusiasts will surely be too excited with this package. It includes Need for Speed, Medal of Honor, Tekken, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, EA Cricket 11 and FIFA 12. The other popular ones included are Hard Rock Collection, Zuma's Revenge, Flight Control, FIFA 11 and Monopoly.

    Apart from gaming, the company also offers utility apps for the C5 users. It includes Message Hider, Contacts Hider, Call Recorder, SMS spam manager and SMS scheduler.

    The director of sales at Nokia India, V Ramnath says that the apps are the main part of overall mobile experience. A research shows that the consumers make use of more gaming and utility apps on the Nokia Store. This offer will bring a list of premium games and apps for free. This will enhance the mobile experience of consumers.

    Nokia Store has over 100,000 apps and is accounting about 13 million download requests everyday.
