Nokia Transport Beta App Updated for Windows Phone [DOWNLOAD]


Nokia has announced an update for its Transport app for Windows Phone. A host of new features will now be made available for users with the latest version. The most notable addition among them is an intelligent auto-prediction feature designed to notify users with interesting destinations while on the move. The user interface has also been redesigned and refreshed for easier accessibility.

The latest Nokia Transport app version will soon be up for download from Windows Phone Store for Nokia’s Lumia range of smartphones. In the new updated app users can have access to transport station with ease and the app will provide updates and information regarding the transport stations during travelling.

A major modifications visible in the interface include a new attractive icon set .The new icons are easy to distinguish unlike the icons in the previous version. Trains, buses and subways are displayed in separate icons. New images have also been made available for amenities such as hotels, restaurants and shops. The previous destinations which are set up in the app can be easily recalled with a simple swipe towards the left or right of the screen. The app also provides users with automatic download of the latest transport information.

Nokia Transport app is known to have established connections including timetables and transit routes of over 550 cities. The Nokia Transport Beta updated app version will be available for Nokia devices including Lumia 610, Lumia 710, Lumia 800 and Lumia 900. Nokia sources have suggested that it will take a few days before the app is displayed in the Windows Phone Store.

Meanwhile, the current, published version (2.1) of Nokia Transport can be downloaded from the Nokia Collection of OEM apps in the store.
