Make Videos with Friends with Facebook Riff
Facebook employees launched a new app on the App Store and Google Play yesterday that lets users make collaborative videos with friends.
Riff, an app created by Facebook Creative Labs lets users upload and make them go viral by collaborating with friends and their peers.
"All you have to do is give it a topic, like #AprilFools, then your friends can view it and choose to add their own clips on that topic." writes Josh Miller, Product Manager at Facebook.

"Once a friend adds a clip to your video, your friend's friends will also be shown the video in Riff and will be able to add to it." he added.
The app doesn't let you import videos from the camera roll, it lets you shoot videos from within the app, and uses the selfie camera by default.
The video creator has the rights to remove added clips from the chain. Riffs can be shared as a URL with the world at large on email and other social networks through the app.

Riff features the most watched videos on the app's homepage. Currently trending on their home page ‘Balancing act', a chain of videos featuring users and their pets balancing objects on their head, which has a chain of eight videos, viewed close to seven thousand times.
